2025 Pool & Aquatic Policies
 
The following policies are set forth by the pool committee to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons, guests, and staff. We ask that you review these policies in advance with your family before utilizing the pool, and ask every member do their part to help keep our aquatic facilities well maintained.
 
Upon arrival, all patrons (members and guests) must check in at the pool entrance before using the facility. Guests must be registered per policy outlined below.
 
No running on the pool deck or other areas of the facility.  
Non-water activities must take place on the grassy areas. 
 
The diving board, and the in-water pool area in front of it, must be fully clear before the next person can jump.
 
When using the slide, swimmers must go down feet first and on their backsideNo ‘head first’ sliding ever.
 
Lifeguards are empowered and expected to maintain a safe aquatic experience at all times
All members and children are expected to adhere to any guidance provided by either pool management or lifeguards.
 
No hanging, sitting, or standing on the in-water lane & rope lines. 
 
Diving from the starting blocks is NOT allowed other than during team practices or structured programming. 
 
Any child who is not potty trained is required to wear waterproof diapers while in the water at all times.
 
All children under 12 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
 
When walking to and from the pool, appropriate cover-ups are required.  
Food & Beverage Policies
  • Food may not be brought on the pool deck for any reason with the only exception being the tables directly below the Timmons House Terrace. 
  • No outside food and beverage may be brought into the Timmons House or Pool facility for any reason (with the exception of water). 
  • Glass is NEVER permitted on the pool deck.
 
Guest Information
 
For the 2025 Pool Season, the following Guest Policy will be in effect. Our priority is to maintain an inclusive atmosphere while ensuring sufficient resources are available for our membership. 
 
·       Members are not permitted to bring more than eight (8) guests at a time on any non-holiday.
·       During high traffic holidays, including Memorial Day Weekend, Juneteenth, July 4th Weekend, and Labor Day Weekend, guest numbers will be limited and capped.
·       Guests will not be permitted on Memorial Day or Labor Day. 
·       Sign-ups for guests during holiday periods will open closer to the actual dates, and guests will only be permitted at the Pool Manager's discretion.
·       Guest fees are $20.00 per individual, per visit, and will be billed to the members at the conclusion of the month. Children under the age of 4 will not be billed. 
·       Members may pre-register guests for non-holidays via the FCC mobile app. Please note that the sponsoring member must always be present with guests at the facility. 
·       Any member who wishes to bring more than the allotted guest amount should contact the Pool Manager in advance. Requests will be processed at the Pool Manager's discretion.
·       Guests are expected to adhere to all existing FCC Policies and Guidelines. 
·       The sponsoring member is responsible for the conduct of their guests for the entirety of their time on FCC property. Members are not permitted to leave their guests unsupervised. 
·       Caregivers may be added to a member account for a fee of $225 per year. Registration is available on the FCC mobile app and should be completed prior to the start of pool season. Caregivers are not permitted to use the facility on their own. 
Facilities Upkeep
 
As a courtesy to fellow members and the FCC staff, we kindly ask members to do their part in helping to keep our aquatic facilities maintained.
·       Please keep all pool areas clean and free of food and debris. Clean up after yourself, your children, and your guests. Remove all trash and belongings when leaving. 
·       Please use appropriate garbage cans and inform stand if there is a mess that requires assistance from a FCC team member. 
·       Take only one towel per person and be mindful of its location. When exiting for the day please return all used towels to the appropriate bin near the entrance hut.
·       Chair reservations are not permitted under any circumstances. Please use the minimum number of lounge chairs possible. 
Adult Lap Swim
  • Beginning on Monday, June 23rd, and continuing on weekdays (Monday - Friday) from 10:30am to 11:15am, there will be a designated lane available for adults to swim laps. This is open to adults swimmers 17 years & older of all abilities levels. 
  • Beginning Monday, June 30th, there will be an additional, more competitive lap swim on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6:30 - 8:00am
  • Please check often for pool closures due to scheduled events.
Lightning Detection & Policies
 
  • When the lightning strikes and/or the siren sounds, all members are required to leave the water immediately and move inside the Timmons House until the pool area is deemed safe. Guidance from staff must be adhered to. 
  • Members can view the Lightning Status through the FCC mobile app in the Forecast section of the Main Menu tab.
